This Site is owned and operated by Bilal Shirazi Holdings Inc. This Site provides information about our business consulting services and software products. In these Terms and Conditions, references to our Site include our apps where the context allows.
By using this Site or our apps, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Bilal Shirazi Holdings Inc. and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Acceptable Use
As a user of our Site, you agree to use our Site legally, not to use our Site for illegal purposes, and not to:
- Harass or mistreat other users of our Site;
- Violate the rights of other users of our Site;
- Violate the intellectual property rights of the Site owners or any third party to the Site; or

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. Our Apps
- App licence. Apps you get from Apple's App Store or Mac App Store are licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms and Conditions add to that agreement; if they conflict on the app licence, Apple's agreement governs.
- Personal use. Our apps are for your personal use on devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's App Store terms.
- Purchases and refunds. If you buy one of our apps, or make a purchase inside one, through Apple's App Store or Mac App Store, Apple processes the payment and handles refunds under Apple's refund policies. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.
- Celiac Tax Helper is not tax advice. Celiac Tax Helper is an information tool. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and Bilal Shirazi Holdings Inc. is not a tax preparer. Its AI features run on your own Mac and may produce errors, so please review its results. You are responsible for what you claim on your tax return. Check the Canada Revenue Agency's current rules or consult a qualified tax professional before you file.
Consulting Services, Billing and Cancellation
Consulting services are provided only to businesses and organizations, under a separate written agreement with each client, which governs if it conflicts with these Terms and Conditions. We do not take deposits. Work is billed as it is delivered, and invoices are payable within 15 days. We never charge interest. Either party may end an engagement on 14 days' written notice, and the client pays for work done up to that date. If an invoice is not paid on time, we may pause work until it is paid.
Disclaimer
The Site and our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent the law allows, Bilal Shirazi Holdings Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or our apps, and our total liability to you for any claim about the Site or an app is limited to the amount you paid for that app in the 12 months before the claim (or CAD $50 if you paid nothing).
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived or excluded, including Ontario's consumer protection legislation and the consumer protection laws of the province, state or country where you live.
Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will indemnify and hold harmless Bilal Shirazi Holdings Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be decided by the courts of Ontario sitting in Toronto, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy, available at bilalshiraziholdings.com/privacy, and our Cookie Policy, available at bilalshiraziholdings.com/cookies, explain how we collect and use personal information and form part of these Terms and Conditions. Our apps collect no personal information unless the Privacy Policy lists it, and they do not send the information you enter to us.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and apps. We will post the updated Terms on this Site and update the Effective Date.
